Due to the frost damage earlier in the year the lavender is blooming much later than previous years. The Grosso variety has just started to blosssom so we expect it to continue throughout August. The Folgate will start it last flourish shortly and will probably have faded a lot by the middle of August.
This warm weather has finally arrived and we welcome all our visitors who like to walk through the calming and peaceful lavender rows.
We do not charge an entrance fee or a parking fee. The very high maintenance costs are covered by the proceeds from our little shop. So if you enjoy the experience of the lavender farm we simply ask that you visit the shop and see if there is something that you like. In this way we can keep the field free to visitors and continue to provide a little oasis of peace in a highly commercialised world.
